The druids thought heather sacred. Brides and warriors thought it lucky.
Scotland’s sheep think it delicious and graze upon the ling (a name derived from the Norse Lyng, meaning fire).

Heather-grazing sheep grow wool steeped in fortune and fire, and that fine wool is shorn and sent to weavers to spin and dye.
That fine, lucky, energised wool goes to the last tartan mill in Scotland where they prepare, weave and finish authentic 16oz wool classic and contemporary plaids your own family or clan’s proud tartan.
